The EinParts Automotive EPDIYWS self-repair / renovation kit allows you to remove chips, deep scratches and cracks.

It is a full kit, no additional tools needed.

The kit can also be used to repair damaged glass headlights.

INCLUDED:
  • drawing pin
  • microfiber cloth
  • self-adhesive gasket x3
  • O-ring x3
  • base for introducing a repair resin
  • razor blade
  • repair resin
  • syringe
  • hardening film x3

Application:
  • chipping
  • scratches
  • shallow scratches
  • deep scratches
  • cracks
  • mechanical damage

Ease of use:

1. Use the red pin to remove the glass shards and clean the residue. Use a cloth to clean the damaged area.

2. Tear off the protective paper and stick the adhesive seal to the windshield, aligning the hole with the center of the damage. Tear off the front of the adhesive seal and place the O-ring in the center of the hole.

3. Attach the base to the adhesive seal, making sure that the base opening is facing up. Use your thumbs to press firmly along the edge of the base to ensure a tight seal with the gasket.

4. Take the repair resin and cut off the tip of the bottle. Gently squeeze the base of the bottle about three times. There should be approximately 2 or 3 drops of resin (the amount needed may vary depending on the extent of the lesion). Use a mirror to check that enough resin has been introduced.

5. Screw the syringe to the hole in the base, pull the plunger up and lock it in the other clasp. Hold the syringe in this position for 10-15 minutes to remove any air bubbles. Unscrew the syringe from the base and screw it on again. Push the plunger back into the syringe and lock it with the first clasp. Leave the syringe in this position for 10-15 minutes.

6. Unscrew the syringe and use a razor blade to remove the base and the adhesive seal from the glass. After removing the base, gently remove any resin residue with a razor blade.

7. Apply 1 to 2 drops of resin to the center of the damaged area. Put the hardening film on the damaged area quickly and use a razor blade to smooth the film, making sure the resin is evenly distributed under the film. If possible, you can fix the foil with adhesive tape (not included).

8. The resin will cure naturally in 15-20 minutes in direct sunlight. After the resin is cured, remove the hardening film. Holding the razor blade at a 45-degree angle, gently scrape off any excess resin.

In 99% of cases, the set removes chips, scratches or cracks.
